The method used is a method of social research with qualitative approach is a technique of collecting data which such research seeks to said solving the problems that exist now in a systematic and factual about the facts on the ground and then pulled a hypothesis to be proven through empirical data. The selected data collection are literature sourced from various literature related to research in the form of books, journals, research reports, newspapers and magazines. The data obtained will be analyzed using the concept applied. Based on the data obtained, can be concluded that the United States in the face of ISIS made several attempts such as prevention, protection and response.
