Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah luas tanam, luas panen, bibit, ruang tanam, pupuk N, pupuk P, pupuk K dan pestisida. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer diperoleh dari petani melalui wawancara langsung dengan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan. Petani responden diambil secara purposive sebanyak 25 petani bawang merah dari empat kecamatan sampel yang merupakan penghasil produksi bawang merah terbesar di Kabupaten Brebes. Besarnya faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat produksi bawang merah dianalisis dengan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan model fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi bawang merah di Kabupaten Brebes. Secara individual, variabel luas tanam, luas panen, ruang tanam dan bibit berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi bawang merah. Sedangkan variabel pupuk N, pupuk P, pupuk K dan pestisida berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap produksi bawang merah di Kabupaten Brebes. Faktor yang memberikan pengaruh terbesar terhadap produksi bawang merah adalah pupuk K dengan nilai koefisien 0,0679. Kata Kunci : Faktor Produksi, Produksi, Bawang Merah xii ABSTRACT Research with titled “Analysis of the factors which influence on the shallot production in Brebes Regency” aims to analyze the factors which influence on the shallot production in Brebes Regency. The variable observed in this research are planting area, harvested area, seeds, the space for planting, N fertilizer, P fertilizer, K fertilizer and the using of pesticide. This research employ the primary data which obtained from farmers through direct interview by using quesionaires. The farmers taken with purposive as much as 25 farmers of shallot from 4 sub districts samples is the largest producer of shallots production in Brebes Regency. The amount of factors that affects the production level of shallot analyzed with multiple linear regression with production function of Cobb Douglas. The results shows that all variables are jointly significant effect on shallots production in Brebes Regency. Individually, variable planting area, harvested area, the space for planting and the seeds are significantly influence on shallots production. While variable N fertilizer, P fertilizer, K fertilizers and pesticides are not significant effect on shallots production in Brebes Regency. The factor that have the greatest influence on the production of shallots is K fertilizer with coefficient 0,0679.
